9 June 2014 — Basil relaxes in the drawing room and tries to learn some Curmudgeon family history. He meets Fergus' assistant. A comparison of maze algorithms is set forth. 4580 words. 15 minutes.
23 June 2014 — Wherein Basil gives Fabian a pep talk, reveals the Second Great Secret of Wizardry, and subsequently shows how a maze is equivalent to a tree. Also, more of Fabian's history is set forth. 3622 words. 12 minutes.

20 July 2014 — In which the consequences of Fabian's youthful foolishness are revealed, and Fabian learns the true significance of his father's saying. 5014 words. 17 minutes.
21 July 2014 — Fabian finds himself in unexpected attire as he bids adieu to Curmudgeon Castle, and sets his face toward future adventures. 1377 words. 5 minutes.
